Through Farm of Nambikay we wish to \ncontribute to a hopeful future of people in the war-torn area of Sri \nLanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><em>mission<\/em><\/strong> of Farm of Nambikay is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>to contribute to the restoration and wholeness of  the war affected and poor people and society in Sri Lanka and to share  Gods love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#177533\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Objectives Farm of Nambikay<\/mark><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In the period 2018 \u2013 2020 Farm of Nambikay aims the following <strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#177533\" class=\"has-inline-color\">operational objectives<\/mark><\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Manage a professional and innovative small-scale farm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Creating work- and learning experience places on the farm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Inclusion of people with disability and\/or impairment on the farm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Bring 50% of the farm profit in a project fund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Use this fund to initiate and\/or support small-scale projects in the area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Develop the cooperation with and capacitate the Grace Community Churches to implement this project fund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Investigate which new initiatives can start at the farm. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>These operational objectives shape the <strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#177533\" class=\"has-inline-color\">strategic objectives<\/mark><\/em><\/strong> of Farm of Nambikay:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To contribute to social and economic development in Mannar province.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be an example and inspiration for farmers and non-farmers in the area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To practise Christian service in the communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To strengthen <em>Grace Community Churches<\/em> in their mission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Farm of Nambikay has a Christian identity, and is based on biblical <strong><em>values<\/em><\/strong> like hope, grace, love, faith, justice, compassion, positive well-being, uniqueness of each individual and serving others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mission Farm of Nambikay \u2018Nambikay\u2019 is Tamil for hope.
